When the owner of Sacramento Bride and Groom Magazine called me to ask if I wanted to do a fashion photo shoot for the magazine, it was a no brainer!  The shoot was held at the very beautiful Frasinetti Winery. The winery is a wonderful surprise, hidden in an industrial area south of Sacramento.  The grounds are absolutely perfect!

I met my lovely models, Kristin Patten and Alee Silvey, as they were prepped for the first half of the session.  They were getting their hair and makeup done by the super duo at Crimson Rose, based out of Placerville. When the gorgeous fresh bridal bouquets arrived from Maple Street Floral we were just about ready to start. We just needed to pick out which dresses to start with. The dresses were from The Bridal Box, in Roseville. There were so many great spots for photos around the winery, we just started where the lighting was right at that moment.

Editorial style photos are very different from a regular photo shoot, there is usually a lot of time getting people comfortable in front of the camera, but these girls came out rockin’ it!
